Study Questions for 6/26/2018

Our passage from Sunday encourages us not to think higher of ourselves than we should but to think with "sober judgement" and evaluate ourselves based on the gifting that God has given us.

  1. From one of the passages on spiritual gifts (Romans 12:6-7, 1 Corinthians 12:7-10, 1 Corinthians 12:27-31, Ephesians 4:11-13) chose one gift or area of gifting that you believe applies to you, provide a brief explanation/definition, and give an example of how you are or can use that gift to benefit the body.
  2. Is our spiritual gifting permanent?  In other words, do we receive a specific gifting and it remains throughout our lives or is our gifting situational?
  3. How does the teaching about spiritual gifts from Romans 12 change how we view fellowship with the body of Christ?
