Discussion topics for 02/06/2018

We will discuss and further study the passage from Sunday:

Romans 6:20-23

1) Summarize in 50 words or fewer the discussion of how v.23 is typically presented vs how it should be presented.   (Hint-if you were not able to be there on Sunday, listen to the first 4 minutes of the sermon.)

2) Living for sin is its own reward. What are some specific things with which modern Christians consistently struggle and which are their own reward (no value to God's kingdom).

3) V. 20 says that when we were slaves to sin, we were free from righteousness. Now, we are no longer slaves to sin, so there is an expectation of righteousness. What other verse/passage/story also teaches this?
