Titus 2:1
A leader of God’s people must be able to teach sound doctrine. The word translated “sound” is a word which means healthy or well. Jesus used it to say "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.” So, when our passage says to teach sound doctrine, it means doctrine which is right or as it should be.

Titus 1:16
There is a well-known (though obviously unreliable) colloquialism that says, “If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.” On a recent “Late Night” episode, host Seth Meyer riffed on that maxim in conjunction with a news story about a deer hunter who mistakenly shot a turkey hunter. Meyer said, “If it walks like a man and talks like a turkey, it must be a deer.”

Titus 1:14-15
It is interesting how “the experts” change their tune on certain topics. My three children are each spaced four years apart. It is amazing how different the “rules of parenting” have been with each child.
