Romans 16:20

Our God is good, but He is not weak. Our God is peaceful, but He is a warrior. This passage is illustrated by C.S. Lewis’ story about Aslan, a Christ figure, in the Chronicles of Narnia. Aslan is a lion, and at one point someone asks if he is safe. Another character replies that of course he is not safe…but he is good.
In a seeming paradox this verse says that our peaceful God will crush Satan. Though God is not a warmonger, He will always do what is right. When Satan tries to battle God, Satan will be crushed because it would be unrighteous for God to allow evil to triumph. This is one of God’s many gifts to us. It is a comforting thought.
Romans 16:20  The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
