Romans 15:28-33

Strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf.
At best my prayer life is not what it should be, but when I do pray, it tends to be more for the physical, material, and even emotional needs of others. I do often pray for ministry opportunities for myself, but here is an area of prayer in which I fail badly—praying for the spiritual effectiveness of the ministry of others.
Paul tells these believers his itinerary for the next few months, and he asks them to pray for his effectiveness in ministry all along the way. I do not ask for prayer from others often enough, and I do not pray for the ministry of others enough.
Let’s make it a point to go boldly before the throne for each other.
Romans 15:28-33   28 When therefore I have completed this and have delivered to them what has been collected, I will leave for Spain by way of you.  29 I know that when I come to you I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.  30 I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf,  31 that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,  32 so that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.  33 May the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
