Resources

Oasis strives to be a source of help and information for anyone who is interested. We have a variety of resources divided into four main categories--theology, reviews, history, and sermons. The Theology folder contains theological studies. The Reviews folder has synopses and evaluations of books and music albums. The History folder contains articles related to Church History. The Sermons folder consists of sermons that are preached in services at Oasis. New articles should arrive periodically.

Small Group Study 11/7/2010

The following questions, taken from the sermon on Sunday, are intended for discussion at our Tuesday night Small Group meeting and for discussion in individual families throughout the week.

This week we looked at Jude's continued description of false teachers and the eternal judgment that awaits them.  These are themes that are found all throughout the Scriptures.  Using the passages provided and others, answer the following questions. (Matthew 7:15-23; 24:1-14, 21-27; 2 Corinthians 11:1-15; Galatians 1:1-12; 2 Peter 2; 1 John 4:1-5; Jude).
  1. What is the nature of false teachers?
  2. What is their ultimate end?
  3. What insight does Scripture give us as to why God allows false teachers/teaching?
